A leading manufacturing business based in the city of Hull are seeking to appoint two Project Managers to join growing projects department. Producing nationally renowned products for both commercial and domestic markets the business is now set for further growth into a new market space. The Project Manager will be required to work with multi-disciplined teams to deliver on time in full for key projects within the business. The Project Manager will also be responsible for:

• Planning and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence of all company policies and NPI
• Creating and monitoring of budgets, resource plans, H&S documentation and risk documentation
• Leading and driving the project team, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are assigned
• Effectively building relationships with project stakeholders
• Maintaining a relevant level of technical knowledge and challenging ideas and concepts when necessary
• Managing project teams effectively to ensure successful delivery of projects in line with company NPI.
• Building relationships and seeking support when necessary from other departments (R&D, Quality, Industrial) to ensure projects are delivered on time.

To be successful in the role of Project Manager you will have:

• Strong project management experience within Engineering or Manufacturing sectors
• Preferably have HND/Degree in a relevant subject area
• Knowledge and prior experience of NPI
• A strong technical background with the ability to challenge ideas
• A can-do attitude and the drive to move projects forward, with an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
• Excellent relationship building skills with previous experience of managing stakeholders internally and externally
• Understanding and prior experience of the use of stage gate process and/or waterfall
• Knowledge and experience of lean methodology and/or agile and scrum methodology
• Preferably a project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM)
• Strong communication skills are essential
