Sales Support Executive Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Hull based manufacturer who are looking to expand their team by appointing a Sales Support Executive to support their commercial function. This role will report into the Commercial Manager and be office based.

As the Sales Support Executive, you will report to Commercial Manager and be responsible for:

• Delivering a first-class customer experience, in person, online and over the phone.
• Responding in a timely fashion to inbound sales enquiries specifically from prospective customer and key customers
• To develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services
• Ensuring the company CRM system is accurately updated in a timely fashion to ensure effective communication with colleagues and customers.
• Liaising with the internal team to ensure customers receive the advice and guidance they need
• Creating sales orders and working with the finance team to ensure clients are invoiced appropriately
• Ensuring the follow up of sales orders so clients receive the correct goods and services on time. This will involve working closely with the transport team who collect and deliver their goods
• Scheduling call backs and proactively looking to sell the company’s products to prospective customers

To be the successful Sales Support Executive, you must have;

• A minimum 1 year working in a sales, customer service or sales administration role.
• GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent level 2 qualification) would be advantageous
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
• Some experience of order processing or customer relationship management (CRM) software

• Good attention to detail – processing sales orders and ensuring we deliver.

•     Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without supervision from others
• Confident in their own abilities to progress and succeed
