This is more than just a management position—it’s an opportunity to influence the full engineering lifecycle, from initial design through to testing and final delivery of products to worldwide customers.

• You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across foundry, machining, assembly, and testing, while ensuring compliance with industry certifications like ISO, PED, ASME, ATEX, and API.
• Your contribution will directly impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a dynamic and technically demanding environment.
• You will join an experienced and close knit management team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Managing the Design and Technical Engineering team providing product design and data to manufacturing operations.
• Overseeing the full life cycle of engineering projects—from order acceptance to delivery whilst meeting technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Deal with any technical queries be it internally or with external customers.
• Supporting production areas including foundry, machining, assembly, and testing by troubleshooting and enhancing efficiency.
• Ensuring all products comply with relevant standards and certifications (ISO, PED, ASME, ATEX, API).
• Contributing to R&D and innovation initiatives in collaboration with Valvitalia corporate strategy & innovation teams.
• Collaborating with your senior management peers and providing regular updates to the General Manager/Director.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Strong leadership, management and technical capabilities
• Knowledge/experience with valves or similar engineered products.
• A collaborative, results-oriented management style with the ability to develop people and drive performance.
• Proven ability to manage complex workloads and deliver on customer requirements without compromising quality.
• Skilled communicator who can work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of analysing issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA), Safety and HSE principles.
• Proficiency in CAD, Inventor, CFD and/or other relevant engineering tools.
• Experience in engineering or make-to-order manufacturing environments.
