Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Experienced within an Architectural metal work environment
• Ability to successful manage multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines
• Analyse project specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
• Evaluate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to create accurate budgets
• Assess risks and incorporate contingencies where necessary
• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements
• Engage with supply chain to obtain competitive pricing
• Prepare detailed proposal documents and cost summaries for client presentations
• Track and manage changes to project estimates during the planning and execution phases
• Stay updated on industry trends, cost fluctuations, and new technologies to improve accuracy
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive and fair pricing strategies
• Able to understand and interpret technical drawings, producing 3D images (SketchUp) would be advantageous
