Finance Manager

They have three sites based in Hull, Beverley and Leeds. The business is lead by Phil Brown their Managing Director who wants to bring hungry and dynamic people in to the business who can make a real impact to the future of Naturewall.

As they continue to grow they require a Finance Manager to join their Team and manage the whole financial function working with the leadership team on costs, forecasting, compliance and adding value with financial efficiencies etc.

As the Finance Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for;

• Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Manage budgets and prepare forecasting reports.
• Analyse financial reports and present findings to the board.
• Supervise financial reporting and budgeting employees.
• Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
• Financial sign off on current and new product costing / BOMs.
• Financial audit of CRP (Capital Return Projects).
• Analyse market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities.
• Identify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Prepare and present statutory accounts – management accounts.
• Responsible for producing cash flow forecasts UK / USA.
• Support with the payroll, VAT and HMRC processes team.
• Manage the purchase and sales ledger teams.
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries.
• Manage audit processes of current systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices.

To be the successful Finance Manager, you will have;

• Fully qualified or part qualified UK accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• A methodical and thorough approach to work & strong attention to detail
• Proven track record of senior stakeholder management & ability to build & develop relationships.
• Proven track record managing company P&L cost base essential & providing insightful feedback to demonstrate thorough understanding of reported company P&L.
• Experience with Xero/ Sage or other accounting systems

Benefits

A salary of between £40,000 & £45,000 DOE plus a pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company socials, free parking etc.

The role will predominantly be based at their Hull site but may include some travel to the Beverley and Leeds site when necessary.
