An exciting opportunity to join Origin, a global pharmaceutical packaging business experiencing significant international growth. Already well established within the UK market, the business continues to expand across Europe and internationally, with entities in Germany and Australia.
As part of their continued growth strategy, Origin are now seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the senior leadership structure. This is a highly influential role focused on financial reporting, compliance, systems integration and process improvement across the group.

Lead finance transformation projects focused on compliance across their Group, process improvements and helping shape the strategy of the business
Take ownership of a multi-entity finance function within a business investing heavily in people, structure and long-term development
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Managing the financial operations of UK, Germany and Australia entities alongside the Holding Company
Overseeing compliance filings across all international entities
Leading finance projects focused on automation, process improvement and operational efficiency
Managing annual financial audits and associated submissions
Building and maintaining relationships with banks, auditors, accountants and external advisors
Producing detailed reporting for the Board and Senior Leadership Team including forecasting, month-end reporting and cashflow analysis
Analysing financial data and identifying emerging trends and opportunities
Leading the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes
Maintaining and improving SOPs across the finance function
Driving continuous improvement and utilisation of systems, particularly SAP
Managing and developing the Finance Team through regular 1 to 1s and appraisals
Reviewing and refining team structure to support future business growth
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Experience operating within a multi-entity international environment
Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and recharge processes
A highly organised and compliance-focused approach
Track record of improving reporting, forecasting and finance systems
Previous team management and leadership experience
Experience working closely with Senior Leadership Teams and key stakeholders
Strong analytical and commercial awareness
Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA is essential
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems would be advantageous
