LOCATION: Hull, East Yorkshire

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Providing day-to-day HR advice and coaching to managers and employees across the business.
• Managing employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee development and performance management activities.
• Advising on HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
• Supporting HR projects, organisational change and people initiatives to improve engagement, retention and the employee experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role, ideally with a CIPD level 3 or CIPD level 5 qualification, or working towards them.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience managing employee relations cases.
• Confidence advising, coaching and constructively challenging managers at different levels, from shop floor to senior management.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
