Carrying out quality control testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure specifications are met
Performing experimental testing to support process improvements under technical guidance
Accurately recording, analysing, and reporting data, highlighting any non-conformances
Preparing and dispatching samples to external laboratories when required
Managing laboratory stock including chemicals, consumables, and equipment
Maintaining retained samples and ensuring correct storage and disposal procedures
Ensuring safe handling and disposal of chemicals in line with health & safety standards
Supporting general laboratory upkeep, hygiene, and maintenance
Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and report data
Understanding of health & safety practices within a lab setting
A proactive and organised approach to workload
Experience with analytical instruments such as GC-FID, Headspace GC, or Karl Fischer (desirable but not essential)
