Laboratory Technician

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Carrying out quality control testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure specifications are met

• Performing experimental testing to support process improvements under technical guidance

• Accurately recording, analysing, and reporting data, highlighting any non-conformances

• Preparing and dispatching samples to external laboratories when required

• Managing laboratory stock including chemicals, consumables, and equipment

• Maintaining retained samples and ensuring correct storage and disposal procedures

• Ensuring safe handling and disposal of chemicals in line with health & safety standards

• Supporting general laboratory upkeep, hygiene, and maintenance

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and report data

• Understanding of health & safety practices within a lab setting

• A proactive and organised approach to workload

• Experience with analytical instruments such as GC-FID, Headspace GC, or Karl Fischer (desirable but not essential)
