Service Engineer

A well-established manufacturer based in East Yorkshire are looking for a Service Engineer to join their international growing company.

This is an opportunity to join a business with a large footprint in the east Yorkshire area working with clients on a national and international basis. For the right candidate further training and development opportunities will be presented.

Opportunity

In the role you will be expected to:

• Provide engineering supporting initially domestically with the opportunity to this be international in the mid term
• Provide technical assistance at your dedicated site
• Deliver demonstrations across different environments
• Provide training to customers on operating machinery
• Deliver world class service to customers
• Install new machinery at customers sites
• Work self sufficiently and remotely to carry out reactive and proactive maintenance

Person

To be successful in the role you will have:

• An engineering qualification preferably electrically biased
• Experience of carrying out reactive & proactive maintenance on capital machinery
• Experience within the print or packaging industry is desirable
• An ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Experience of fault-finding & maintaining PLCs is a desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
• An ability to be self-sufficient, organised and work remotely
