The Opportunity: Business Development Manger
Emmerson Kitney are looking for an experienced sales professional to join the team as Business Development Manager.
In this role you will build relationships at a senior level, working with business owners, hiring managers and HR departments to secure partnerships that will increase Emmerson Kitney’s client base, brand presence, market share and profitability. You will be the company’s brand ambassador, be that in client meetings, or at various networking events across the region.

The Right Person For The Job
You are a proven Business Development Manger or B2B sales professional, with experience of working to and exceeding sales targets.
You thrive in a target driven environment and KPIs are a part of the job – for you they are a measure of how big an impact you are having in the business.
You are used to securing new business meetings, holding strategic conversations with decision makers and influencers.
You’re a strong relationship builder and understand the value of long term strategic partnerships but are equally quick to recognise an opportunity to add value and do business with a client.
Our industry is fast paced and competitive so you will need to be well versed in creating value and building relationships but at the same time are effective at overcoming objections.
You are resilient, well organised, a quick thinker and even quicker to act and take ownership.
You are competitive by nature and have a genuine enthusiasm for being in front of people. Delivering presentations and helping clients solve problems comes naturally to you.
You’re the sales person that makes smart commercial decisions, securing the right business not just any business and are the person that keeps going to get the job done.
A strong B2B background and an existing network of business contacts within the SME companies in the Humber region would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

- A salary of £35,000 – £45,000
- Uncapped commission and just hitting minimum expectations will see you earn £9,900
- A car allowance of £360 per month plus mileage
