Brocklesby specialise in areas including:
– Used Cooking Oils
– Food Waste
– Waste & Resides
– Technical
Brocklesby work with large manufacturing companies across the UK, taking their food waste and converting this in to energy sources such as Bio-fuels for the aviation industry. As well as larger manufacturers Brocklesby also work with food collectors UK wide who collect food waste from restaurants, takeaways and food outlets. Turning their waste in to renewable energy sources also.
Their on-site Biogas facility provides heat and power to our factory and we export renewable electricity to the grid to power over 11,000 local homes.
The bio fertilizer (liquid digestate) is spread back on arable land to increase crop production in a virtuous cycle of renewable production.
Brocklesby was acquired by Nordic Giant ST1 in 2022 who are utilising Brocklesby’s UK base to provide feedstocks for their Gothenburg refinery, converting their food waste in to renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel production. ST1’s CEO said “Entering the sustainable feedstock business in the UK is a concrete step in consistent and long-term implementation of our growth strategy. At the same time, it strengthens our feedstock sourcing for our own growing renewable fuels production and enables development of future growth in a new business area.”
Emmerson Kitney have worked with Brocklesby for a number of years to recruit various positions within their team and now have an exciting opportunity to join as a Head of Commercial.
