Pure Renewables Commercial was founded in 2021, specialising in large renewable energy solutions within the industrial and commercial HVAC sector. Pure Renewables are proud to have provided a number of prestigious projects throughout the UK working with main contractors in sectors including local authority, manufacturing and leisure.

Pure Renewables are now looking to grow their Commercial HVAC Team with the recruitment of two Technical Sales Engineers who will cover the North of England & Scotland and the Midlands and Yorkshire regions. This role will look at large scale infrastructure projects with examples such as working with main contractors in sectors such as local authority and leisure complexes.

The role would ideally suit individuals with technical knowledge in industrial and HVAC with particular experience in commercial heat pumps. Its also important that candidates have the commercial acumen to deal with multiple stakeholders and can navigate tenders, frameworks and managing complex contracts.

The Successful Technical Sales Engineer with report in to the National Sales Manager and be responsible for the following: 

  • Managing a pipeline of sales enquiries and opportunities through qualification, proposal, quote management, and booking of the work to achieve orders and gross margin targets
  • Proactively identifying project opportunities in your target area through sales strategy including specifier and sub contractor relationships, networking, lunch and learns and becoming a recognised referral partner
  • Managing the execution of the project through to install and servicing.
  • Managing overall scope of the contract proposals, looking at large multi million pounds projects for both public and private sector entities
  • Assist in identifying specification issues or interpretation discrepancies and providing solutions to resolve.
  • Providing accurate forecasting to senior leadership team
  • Developing their service contracts offering
  • Continuing to maintain and develop supplier relationships with an eye on growing the supplier portfolio


This role is a great fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships with the ability to hold technical conversations on complex HVAC solutions. This is the ideal role for those that are goal – orientated and are adept at assessing and understanding the immediate needs of customers.

  • Experience in an industrial or commercial role within HVAC
  • Experience working with specifiers, contractors and consultancies
  • Self-motivated and able to manage many multiple projects and pipeline at one time autonomously
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close opportunities
  • An engineering related degree would be desirable
  • Experience using a systems (Hubspot desirable)
