Team

David has been a recruitment business owner for the past 10 years and founded Emmerson Kitney in 2009. His energy and passion for recruitment with commitment to providing best in class service inspires the rest of the team. He has an excellent ability at building long term business relationships with both clients and candidates.

Joe joined Emmerson Kitney having previously worked in a secondary school as a Pastoral Manager. Learning his trade as a specialist recruiter in our engineering division, Joe now leads day to day operations at Emmerson Kitney ensuring both candidate and clients have the best experience possible. Outside of work Joe plays and coaches at local rugby union club Hull Ionians, travelling Italy and socialising with family & friends. Joined the business in September 2016

Some would say Sam is now part of the EK Furniture having been at Emmerson Kitney for nearly 7 years. However before joining EK he completed a Degree in Sports Science and like many in the industry fell in to recruitment after a spell in Sports & Leisure sales. The most rewarding part of the role for Sam is successfully delivering a project for his clients and seeing the hire make an impact in the business long term. Away from the office Sam enjoys running, cricket and has recently had his first child so is occupied with changing nappies and trying to get as much sleep as possible. Specialising in the recruitment of Sales and Marketing candidates at all levels. Joined the business in April 2017.

Before joining the business Rebecca (also known as Shippers) came from an Accountancy background, transitioning into recruitment as she wanted to do something more customer facing and rewarding with placing Candidates into long term careers. Away from the office Rebecca will never say no to a bottomless brunch and a boogie to Sean Paul. Specialising in recruitment of Design Engineers, Project Engineers and Supply Chain Professionals. Joined the business in April 2021.

Before starting at Emmerson Kitney, Marni was involved in modelling, fashion, and events. Transitioning into recruitment felt like something she fell into yet seemed so perfect. The feeling of placing talented candidates into their next step in life felt great and only encouraged her to do it more. Learning about people’s life too feels so rewarding. Out of office time consists of being with friends and friends, playing hockey or cooking up a storm (with my one million allergies).

Before joining the business Charlie (also known as Chaz or Snaithy) Graduated from University after studying business, Moving into recruitment as he saw Emmerson Kitney as a great place to begin his professional career and the reward of helping other Candidates into long term careers. Away from the office Charlie will often be playing football or out having some drinks with friends and family. Joined the business in October 2023.

Lauren Joined Emmerson Kitney in February 2022 with multiple years’ experience within an accounting function across construction and materials handling. Along the way she has studied towards her level 2 & 3 AAT and is continuing onto Level 4. Outside of work Lauren enjoys going on sunny vacations and social outings with friends as well as spending time with Family.
